A rugby win became a bigger game.

A startup community ran a prediction game for the Springboks’ matches against the All Blacks. I won, and the prize was a R1,000 Takealot gift voucher.

Instead of spending it and moving on, I wanted to see how far that first R1,000 could go. The challenge: use it as the starting point for small, smart ventures, keep track of every step, and aim for R100,000 to help fund a trip for two to the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
